Bringing creativity, connection and confidence back into everyday life
Stephettie Creates was founded on a simple belief: making things together helps people feel better, connect deeper and grow in confidence.
Through thoughtfully facilitated creative workshops, we work with corporate teams, inclusive groups, families and communities to create spaces where everyone feels welcome – and capable.
Hi, I'm Steph
I’m the founder of Stephettie Creates – and, quite honestly, I’ve probably always been destined to spend my days surrounded by paint, glue, fabric, beads and approximately 400 craft materials I might need one day 😂
I grew up watching programmes like Art Attack, spending hours crafting, building, experimenting and making glorious messes without worrying whether what I created was “good enough”.
Somewhere along the way, though, that freedom to simply make things for the joy of making them tends to disappear. Work gets busier. Screens take over. We’re encouraged to be productive, efficient and good at things straight away.
I wanted to create something that brought back a little of that childhood magic – but with a purpose.
A reason to put the phone down. Sit around a table. Try something new. Make something with your hands. And spend time with other people.
And that’s where Stephettie began.
Professional Background
Before Stephettie, I spent over a decade working in corporate team building, events and learning & development.
So while I’m very happy talking about paint pens and glitter, I also know a thing or two about designing experiences that actually work for groups of people.
I understand how to create activities that are engaging without being overwhelming, structured without feeling rigid, and inclusive without making anyone feel singled out.
That experience now sits underneath everything I create — from a seven-year-old’s birthday party to a corporate wellbeing workshop or a community event with hundreds of visitors.
Creativity should be for everyone
Inclusion isn’t an add-on at Stephettie – it’s the starting point.
This approach is deeply personal to me. My sister lives with muscular dystrophy, and over the years I’ve seen how creativity can open doors to confidence, connection and purpose, and how easily people with additional needs can be overlooked once formal education ends.
Stephettie was built to create spaces where people feel capable, valued and welcome – whatever their ability, background or experience.
Every workshop is thoughtfully designed with:
- A low barrier to entry → so people feel confident getting started quickly
- Choice and flexibility → the ability to opt in, adapt or personalise
- Calm, supportive facilitation → no pressure, no perfection
- Space for individual or collective participation → whatever feels right
This inclusive, human-centred approach works just as powerfully for corporate teams as it does for adults and young people with additional needs – creating experiences where everyone can take part, connect and create in their own way.
Our Commitment: People, Planet, Purpose
At Stephettie, sustainability and wellbeing aren’t afterthoughts – they’re built into everything we do
People
Workshops prioritise connection, belonging and mental wellbeing. A portion of profits from every session is donated to Mind, extending the impact beyond the workshop itself.
Planet
We use reclaimed, salvaged and eco-conscious materials wherever possible – from repurposed ceramics and timber to working with sustainability-focused suppliers.
Purpose
We don’t create activities simply to fill time. Every workshop is designed with a reason – whether that’s encouraging imagination, building confidence, creating connection, supporting wellbeing or simply giving people the chance to slow down and enjoy making something together.
Let’s create something meaningful together
Whether you’re looking to support staff wellbeing, create inclusive opportunities, celebrate with family or bring people together in your community – Stephettie Creates offers a more thoughtful way to do it.
