Stephettie Creates was founded on a simple belief: making things together helps people feel better, connect deeper and grow in confidence.
Through thoughtfully facilitated creative workshops, we work with corporate teams, inclusive groups, families and communities to create spaces where everyone feels welcome – and capable.
My Story
Hi, I’m Steph – founder of Stephettie and your creative guide.
I’ve always believed in the magic of making things with your hands.
Like many people of my generation, I spent hours as a kid inspired by shows like Art Attack which had me crafting, building, sticking, experimenting, and making a glorious mess without worrying whether the end result was “good enough”.
As we get older, that freedom often fades. Creativity gets squeezed out by work, screens and expectations, even though it’s one of the most powerful tools we have for wellbeing, connection and learning.
Stephettie Creates exists to bring that hands-on creativity back with intention, care and purpose.
Professional Background
Alongside my love of making, I’ve spent over a decade working in corporate team building, events and learning & development.
I’ve seen first-hand what helps teams connect – and what doesn’t.
And I noticed a gap: wellbeing initiatives that look good on paper, but don’t always translate into how people actually feel.
Creative workshops bridge that gap. They create shared experiences that feel human, inclusive and genuinely restorative.
Inclusion By Design
Inclusion isn’t an add-on at Stephettie – it’s the starting point.
This approach is deeply personal to me. My sister lives with muscular dystrophy, and over the years I’ve seen how creativity can open doors to confidence, connection and purpose, and how easily people with additional needs can be overlooked once formal education ends.
Stephettie was built to create spaces where people feel capable, valued and welcome – whatever their ability, background or experience.
Every workshop is thoughtfully designed with:
- A low barrier to entry → so people feel confident getting started quickly
- Choice and flexibility → the ability to opt in, adapt or personalise
- Calm, supportive facilitation → no pressure, no perfection
- Space for individual or collective participation → whatever feels right
This inclusive, human-centred approach works just as powerfully for corporate teams as it does for adults and young people with additional needs – creating experiences where everyone can take part, connect and create in their own way.
